Hmmm my brother is actually buying a new build and he gets it this arvo, its pretty good, case looks nice and everything, all up it will be $1950 odd aussie dollars so here is his parts list.

Intel C2D E6550 - $270
Gigabyte P35-S3 - $170 He is getting it for 140 though.
Nvidia 8800 GTX 768MB - $789
ATRIX Gaming case - $100
600w power supply - $140 Not sure on brand, he has the receipt so i cant check.
Seagate 250GB hard drive - $89
2GB 667MHz RAM - $170 Had to settle for no name RAM cause our local shop didn't have the G.Skill he wanted.
Samsung DVD combo with lightscribe - $60

I think thats about it, he already has an audigy sound card and another DVD ROM so yeah. It isn't a bad build and the price is ok for Australian dollars.

All the prices are from this site: http://www.zipcomputers.com.au/
Thats the actual place he is buying from too.

Hope it helped.

Umarts a massive rip.

A single 320GB drive is the same price as 2 250GB drives from MSY.

I could go on, but its pretty obvious that there are major price differences in every area.

I highly advise against shopping at umart.
