XFX 680i LT walling at 3.15ghz with a Q6600... anyone with this board OCed higher?

Thread Starter
I have an XFX 680i LT and I was wondering if anyone else with this board has been able to achieve better speeds than I have so far.

My box is stable @ 3.15ghz with a 1.344 vcore. 3.83ghz (9x1700) will post and almost boot into Vista but it freezes before the GUI comes up...

I've tried everything in between 3.15 and 3.83... 3.15 seems to be the highest stable OC. I crave speed!! Suggestions?

3.15ghz
vcore: 1.344 (1.4 in bios)
memory: 2.1V
SPP: 1.5V
FSB: 1.5V

Thanks for your input! I can't wait for the X38 to come out... lol

What pics do you want? cpu-z or what? I've tried voltage of up to 1.5 with no dice... I think 1.6V is the highest my bios will let me push my vcore... I will try updating the bios if there is a later revision out!

luckii: KniteLife has the exact same model and stepping CPU that I have. he pushed to 4.1ghz on the P5K i believe using phase change. I should be able to hit at least 3.6ghz since I have the same CPU model and stepping.

validation:
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=218725

no luck with the new bios revision... i could boot into 3.23ghz but i didn't do any stability testing. 3.86ghz would begin to boot but restart after a few seconds... any there any other settings that i should modify other than voltages and disabling C1E? PCI_Ex16 from 100mhz to higher or what?? i've increased my vcore to 1.6V (HOT) cpu under load at 3.15 is like 45C and my ddr2 to 2.1 from stock of 1.85... push the DDR a bit higher? i really think if i have the right settings i can make 3.6 or even 3.86ghz stable... input is appreciated!

damnit. c1e and eist are disabled. i don't think i have an option for a "speed spectrum"..? is there anyone else that thinks my RAM is the limiting factor? i really think i could make 3.6ghz stable with more tweaks or hardware changes i just need to know what to do... i doubt temps would go beyond 55C at 3.6 with a vcore of 1.6V
