what is bunnyhop?

i found it on a hl2 mod server and could never find out what it does i have it if any 1 wants to try it

in games bunnyhopping means to repeatedly jump up and down to avoid fire and make it harder to be shot, how can you have it? :S

Only noobs, "HAVE" bhop. Noobs, have to download. Those of us who played 1.3 and older know how. Basically you jump strafe left, mouse left, then after you jump, strafe right, mouse right. If done correctly you gained speed back in 1.3, even on level ground. But in the current version, or Source, you can retain a stable speed while jumping. If going downhill, you can gain alot of speed, and then retain that. Very useful rushing in the dust maps.

You can Bhop easily in HL2, just keep jumping while holding down W lol.

You can still do it in Source too, just needs a few scripts.

If you can't bunny hop without a script, don't do it...
If you know how to do it properly, have at it...

Of course, bunny-hopping properly on OCN GG server is different than on reg. gravity servers...

Check these 2 videos for some insane jumping... including Boosts and Bunny Hopping etc...
