Overclocking/enabling hypermemory on ati mobility radeon x1400

Thread Starter
I have an Acer 5672WLMi with the ATI mobility radeon x1400 128MB with hypermemory (can be boosted upto 512). Was wondering how I add could more RAM to video memory or safely overclock my GPU. I am using the latest OMEGA ATI drivers. Would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Dont even try overclocking integrated GPU, its not gonna work because I tried it before with my Geforce 6150 and will not work. How much system RAM do you have in that Acer? I think you dont enough memory to supply that X1400.

Leave it at 256mb mem. I wouldnt try to OC an onboard card unless you want to fry your laptop...

agreed not to overclock

however I would say TURN-OFF hypermemory.

Not only does it take your memory but it will overall slow your system down.

But otherwise leave it a t 256
