E6600 - Core 2 Duo Question

Thread Starter
Alright I'm looking for a new Power supply and I'm looking for one with 8 pin cpu power connections. Now will the core 2 duo handle the 8 pin or is it only suppose to be run on 4 pin. Please help.

I'm liking this power supply,Click Here because it has the 4+4 cpu power supply instead of the 8 cpu power supply. $130.00 My max for a PSU. If you suggest a different' one.

Thanks!

it is 4 pin my friend, not eight. the eight pins divide in TWO and you can use one as the four pin, the other i dont know what it does...

That is an EXCELLENT choice for power supply. Or for 89$, the ANTEC truepower 650W psu. But the OCZ is BETTER quality PSU.
