E6400

Hello,

I have done no overclocking and I have changed nothing in the BIOS. Should my core speed be at 1600 MHz? I looked in my BIOS, and the multiplier is set to 8X.

Your having the problem I am... It is the latest cpu-z mixed with vista. If you keep open cpu-z long enough you will see the multiplier change back and forth revealing the real core speed. Not much you can do about it...

OMG! I did see it change just for a second. Is this a common issue with Vista and CPU-Z?
