EriaTarka I've done that, my mouse is overclocked to 1000hz and I have no acceleration. DUNC4N I'll try that soon, all I have in my launch options at the moment is "-refresh 100; -noforcemspd; -noforcemparms; -noforcemaccel"

And I just tried Vertical Sync in control panel only and not in CS:S and it was not as choppy, but once again it was still there, my friend has almost the same set-up so I know I'm not just being picky about certain glitches, his runs flawlessly. The only thing I didn't like about Vertical Sync in the control panel was that the reg was terrible.

By the way I have another question, I seem to restart after every time I close CS:S or before I wanna open it, does that change anything at all or am I just obsessive? I know I've noticed a slight difference in choppiness when I leave it on.

EDIT: Sorry for the triple posting, multi-tasking makes me mad.

It shouldn't make a difference, no. Have you had a look to see if the CPU is going crazy in task manager?

If so try clearing it, and go into your launch options, and put "-autoconfig"

After you start CSS, quit, go back into your launch options, and delete the -autoconfig.

I have found after many different tests, that the game defaults according to your hardware pretty well. And I've used them all. (Cevo, caseys, alpha's)

Worth a shot.
Didn't change a single thing >.<.

EDIT: I'll check to see if its going crazy in a second.

When I minimized it was at 3-18% fluctuating, but that was also while I was going through firefox, so I don't think thats a problem.

Hmm I remember something about my 7900GS running in low power 3d mode during gameplay which would cause problems. I wonder if your experiencing the same problem.
