Cyberpowerpc.com is great. Also, just a tip, if you pick say that Mega Deal III and choose your hardware, and then choose the intel c2d setup with all the same hardware, the prices can drop around $100. So just try out all the different options for the best price. I got my computer from there for $1500. I was gonna buy it all on newegg and build it myself, but it was actually cheaper to have them do it.

Check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of..._Manufacturers
Look for entries like these:
# Falcon Northwest [20] - Custom builds high end gaming systems.
# Fast Track PCs [21] - Custom builds budget desktop and laptop computer systems.

Commodore Gaming's Commodore G could be considered a budget build, although they aren't in the US.

For £1,029.00 without shipping.. pretty neat. (but that's as cheap as it gets)

It also comes with a case, and you get to choose case art.

Good luck with finding something that works for you!
