Ok, so i was looking at i found this. and the reviews look like they can clock pretty high... and there is a $40 rebate. im thinking about buying a set and trying them out and them buying another if they are good.

But it's a 1GB kit... Get the Platiniums, I have those, they clock to 265MHz at 3-3-2-0. They don't go higher no matter the timings though.

i know its a 1GB. i was gonna get 2. I know 4 sticks isnt the best idea but if people are getting this to DDR500 on a regular basis and the OCZ's seem to be hit and miss...

Crucial Ballistix are the best DDR ram for overclocking. They aren't cheap here either compared to DDR2 ram and DDR value ram.

A 2gb set is about £116 here (~$230)
for comparison Value ram costs £75 (~$150)

I still am considering the OCZ's and right now its between those too. price is good at newegg the OCZ's is about as high as ill go.
