$250 for mobo and cpu.

Thread Starter
I need to upgrade this old comp but I dont have the cash to do it all at once but i have $250 to get me a cpu mobo for now. Can anyone suggest what would be the best deal going? I realize memory and psu will probably have to come later and obviously a new vid card.

sometimes newegg has cpu and mb deals, but i have never seen that specific combo together, why not just order them at the same time?

I would go with that same processor (3600+). Its the best bang for your buck processor.

For the motherboard, I would go w/ the DFI LANPARTY UT NF590 - $140 + shipping at newegg
The LANPARTY is one of the best AM2 motherboards out there, very good oc'ing ability.

That total should be just under $210

You are a week too late. I was selling a e6300 and P5B-Deluxe for 250 + shipping but I left the U.S.

EDIT: 2 Sawx fans in a row...

well, the tforce isnt SLI so u wouldnt be able to have two cards. The lanparty has both PCIe slots running at 16x
