is it possible to bios flash without a floppy drive?? if so, do you have an FAQ or instructions? that would go with vista64? thanks!

you can do it with a cd..you just need a burner. burn the bios version flash program to a cd, and then set the cd rom as primary boot. it should flash your bios off of the CD. you can also do this with a thumb drive ive heard, but all i know how is with a CD

i am not sure about evga but i know that asus has asus update. You download the bios or put the bios in a folder and then update from file. This changes all settings and does bios flash from your desktop. Then you restart when it asks and bam, bios flash

i wouldnt screw with any programs. id put the cd in the tray. shut down the computer. restart-hit f8 and set primary boot device to cd rom, or, you can do it in the bios. it should read the program on the disk and automatically flash it for you.

you do nothing..its flashed. updated. its all good! theres really nothing to do unless ive missed something. if all goes well, it should fix any stability issues you may have/will have had and make your system run a bit smoother
