Relative FPS doesn't mean FPS. It's showing for every FPS using a single GPU, you get X (2, 1.95...) for using 2 GPUs. 100% increase for SLI seems pretty nice if you ask me.

For the first few pages of this thread I was becoming ashamed of being an OCN member lol Relative Frames Per Second is a whole lot different than Frames Per Second

I posted this before it gives a true indication of how they perform. I can only say this because I own one. I would have to honestly say it matched the performance of the 7900gs card I had but it did it cooler (probably because it had better cooling) and it seemed to run on less power. I felt maybe the 7900gs could surpass the 8600gt once you got into overclocking though. I think its because of the additional power that was fed through the card gave it a slight advantage but made it heat up alot easier.

For all the newbs, this chart does NOT represent FPS, DUH!

It's just showing that 1 card = 1.0 performance vs. the SLI which results in a gain of 75% or more performance.

lmao at those who htink those are fps scores. All that chart shows is how many times better a pair of 8600gts would perform in sli versus a single 8600gts.

You paid double my card for yours, and it's only 30% more powerful.
So if I sli and OC it will be more powerful than yours and still cheaper, because of the price drops
