Overclocking Help.

Ok guys, I have never attempted to overclock my PC, and it has never really interested me until lately. I have read the little FAQ on overclocking that is put up here, but I decided to post all of my system specs here, to basically ask, is it worth it, and basically, how do I do it? I know alot more than the average person knows about computers, but I want you to all treat me like I know jack about them, to make it as simple as possible for me to do this(if it is even worth doing)

Here are my specs(its a pretty crap setup, but does what I need it to do(Photoshop, Movies, Music, Internet, A Few Select Games) until I buy a laptop for college within the next year)

BTW I used CPU-Z for all of these specs.I'll just post everything straight from that program.

CPU:

Cache:

Mainboard:

Memory:

SPD:

Again, I want you to somewhat pretend that I hardly know anything about computers pretty much, id hate to miss something and end up messing up my PC. Any help is greatly appreciated and if you need anything else, just ask!

I bought it pre built from a local computer store about 3 years ago. The only thing I did was add the 2nd stick of RAM and the video card which I bought off my friend for $15 like 2 years ago.

First question to ask is whether or not the motherboard supports overclocking, to do this go into your bios and look for places to adjust your FSB.

You can't overclock that system.

Gosh! Willamette paired with PC-133? That's the most horrible thing that could've happened to a Willamette.

Best thing would've been RDRAM. That way it's a 400fsb CPU with a 400MHZ fsb RAM. Your system must be very slow unfortunately.

Anyhow, can't overclock that.

Thanks guys, I went to another forum and quickly figured that out.

Its pretty bad I know, but it runs GTA SA pretty well, along with any sports games I like to play and Halo, plus photoshop and movies. I plan on buying a Macbook, Macbook Pro or a Dell XPS within the next year, before I go to college, because this thing will not be coming with me, I personally cant wait to buy my laptop.

I was recently looking at a Dell XPS that I customized to around $2000, but I think I am going to just settle for a Macbook, since I plan on buying a PS3, so i'll use that for my games.
