heres a screenie of mine at play!

notice the graph in sysoft. the last cpu in the list is the 2400+ mobile athlon, it was my last cpu i used, i wanted to see how much my e6600 kicked its but, what a difference!

Nice work! You definitely have room to play.... I have the same CPU and motherboard as you

I'd run at an 8x multiplier and try to up your FSB to ~400. (400 x 8 = 3.2GHz) Your RAM might hold you back a little so you might have to actually run with a multiplier (if the memory won't OC, not sure). But that EVGA 680i will definitely handle at least 400FSB. I'd just go in slow increments, though... don't want those BSOD's, or worse, no boot.

Run stress tests every so often with Orthos or OCCT between OC's to make sure you're running stable. If not, up the VCore a little and try again. (Watch temps though).

Check out the thread in my sig about Ratios and FSB if you want.

Also, the EVGA Forums can be a lifesaver when trying to OC with our motherboards.

Not bad guys, I've got a little E4300 I'm working on, it's currently tipping away at 3.15Ghz @ 1.3875v in BIOS. It'll do more but it's pushing 60C in my 28C ambients on air. The rig's torn down and being shipped to Boston right now so you'll have to wait to see my final results when I get her back under water in the sub 20C ambients I'll be keeping there (having 80F outside is much better than the 110 here for computer components)

You all suck...lol. I have to run a Vcore of 1.4 just to get 3.1GHz stable! I hate it

Edit: In your picture you posted you have only been running it a couple minutes...I hope you don't take that as stable.

Choggs, did you ever notice any increase in stability when you lowered the multi to increase the FSB?

Maybe i should try that...couldn't hurt. Then I could fix my crazy divider which is currently 13:15 haha.

Both were stable, but I improved my 3DMark06 scores a little with the faster FSB and 1:1 Ratio
