Ahh, I forgot you can't turn it. Let us know how the fan reversing works out for you, I'd bet it makes a fair improvement.

Here's a pic of my naked D/O which shows the center inlet chamber
definitely covers both cores when mounted.

Ahh, yeah, looks like you have really good coverage no matter which way it's turned.

Well, I reversed the fans, and now I get nothing when I boot. Just a black screen. I hate computers. I didn't change anything except the fan orientation. I had to tear it all apart to change them, but nothing else was changed.

Dang it Man, your not having much luck right now...Did you make sure the GPU card isn't loose or the monitor connections aren't loose?

Yeah, I re-connected everything I could think of before giving up. I am going to go to the hardware store tomorrow anyways and get some new bolts to mount the block with since the board is warped from the Zalman 9700 that used to be on it. I am going to use an old BT backplate behind the board to keep it straight. The line method for the AS5 worked well though. When I took it apart right after putting it together the spread looked good. I am starting to hate this Jeep case though, the MB tray is so Fing flimsy, overall the work FoRmEd put into this case was directed on the outside, not the inside. I am finding it very hard to work with, basically it is a huge PITA to remove the motherboard, and it's really loose when it's in there too. I might get the energy some day to cut out the tray and make my own, but I just want this thing to work, NOW!

... I am serisously about to smash this thing. I was in Windows monitoring the idles, and then I go to put the side panel on to see if they change and it blips out, and now I am back to the black screen problem.

EDIT: I found the problem, a loosey goosey 24-pin connector! I knew that stupid flimsy mobo tray would cause problems. Whenever I plug in/disconnect the power cable the board flexes so much. I just jammed the thing in there like there was no tomorrow while bracing the back and now it is finally connected fully.

Sounds like something is loose or shorted...When I get mad at them I'll just walk off for a while....Freaking grounded out shorts can be a night-mare to find...You don't have any kind of back-plate on it now that could be grounding it out? I did that once and it took forever to figure out what was wrong with it...I finally yanked the mobo out and thats when I saw the back-plate wasn't insulated...
