very weird HD problem

Well i figured my 5 year old WD 160gig was about to die so i purchase a new seagate 320gig sata II drive. The problem is that everytime i try to boot the from the 320 it'll just say something like "insert system disk and click to continue" and "BOOT ERROR"...but it'll boot with the old 160 in.
lol w ut?

If you just transfered the files and not a whole image then your stuck becuase your missing the MBR (master boot record).

Hmmm... it seems like they are conflicting or the new os got messed up. I would do a repair install on the new drive.

Are your jumpers set right? Does your motherboard support SATA2? Is the seagate plugged into sata port 0?
