That is correct but temps should still be under 60c anyways nice overclock but time to get better cooling or mobo/CPU/RAM upgrade. Lifespan look how old it is don't think 1.5 vcore will make difference that CPU is only gonna be a good performer for another year or so.

It is an older system. p4 478 socket. I just got a new heatsink & fan, some case fans, and some memory.

I do plan on building another system, but not at this point. So i've baught some small cooling upgrades to hopefully OC it. I set the Vcore back to "default" and CPUZ reads 1.472-1.502

here is a screenshot of CPU-Z, Everest, and PCWizard 07.
I set everything back to original, the way it came "stock".
I'll post another screenshot with the FSB changed, but still leaving Vcore alone.

Ok, here's the screenshot of the same 3 programs after adjusting the FSB from 133 to 157. Everything else is left alone.

BTW, the restarting issue got fixed when i lowered the settings. But i still would like to push the system further without damaging anything. Of course, this system will not last forever

download and try to run orthos. try ram first, most likely your ram wants looser timings

does this mean i need to loosen my memory? (not sure how to do that, so i'll have to read up on it)

All that error means is something is amiss with your settings. It could either be a ram timing prolbem, a ram voltage problem, or the cpu doesn't have enough vCore. Usually I set the ram timings to the SPD values, and the voltage to the stock specification for my particular ram module. Then I clock the heck out of my cpu until it is no longer stable or I've reached a barrier (temperature or fsb). Then I try to reign in the memory timings until just before it becomes unstable. I then know my cpu is maxed, and my ram is as tight as it can be.
