Computer won't start and has an orange light

Thread Starter
Alright so I was installing a temperature monitor because my game kept crashing and I wanted to see if it was too hot, and after it started installing the orange light came on the Monitor and an orange light on the power button of the computer came on. I don't know what happened and now it won't start anything.

If it is the motherboard I don't see how that could fry it

I installed that.

Everything is stock from buying a Dell Dimmension 5150.

Id contact dell about warranty, the orange light isnt good on the power button. For my moms it was a dead motherboard. On the back i/o panel are there five leds in a row? As moms does, if so are any lit, and if so in what order? Edit the leds should be labeled with letters, a b c d e, or numbers. edit, if it has those leds, power the computer on and tell me which if any are lit as these are diagnostic leds, all five lit means everythings ok, if none are lit you have serious problems, but if some or one is lit I can help you diagnose the problem.

It looks like 2 and 3 are lit up (on the front) but that might be the light from the Power Button
