That's my prognosis anyway. You would've had better clocking results with two 2GB DIMM's as opposed to four 1GB. The only other limiting factor could be your NorthBridge cooling. I had to replace the stock cooler on my P5N32-E SLi to run stable when I orginally hit 3.4Ghz. The 680i's do tend to run hot and this could also be a reason for your clocking troubles too. To be honest, I'd try again but with only two DIMM's in your system before you consider after market cooling on the NorthBridge though.

i believe you blink i have a costa rica chip its **** too its the b2 rev.
i am stable at 1.4vcore 3.0ghz
i disabled averthing too
the speed gain is not worth the trade off, shorter cpu life possible unstablility all that
so i went back to stock and just enjoy the noise zalman9700 makes
i guess my cpu runs cooler then everyone elses

It's not that Its unstable past 3GHz, its that I cant even boot windows(unless you count safe mode )

I'll try the RAM tomorrow.

It could even be a BIOSissue. I'll try updating them tomorrow, for some reason I couln't get the DVD BIOS flash to work. Then I tried downloading and installing the NVIDIA sysem update thing but it did some crazy thing with my instalshield. So im still at P24, when the newest one is P30.

Yeah, im getting kinda mad...I even lapped my Tuniq Tower lol...I think I'll keep it at 3GHz since the temps are pretty good when its set there and then I cna stick it to Vista since before it ranked my CPU only at 4.6 :O Now its 5.7

I believed that too with my L644G231, till I learned the bios settings
on my Gigabyte P35-DS3R and hit 3.6Gb. Still limited by my mem.
I have a L644G264, and am having trouble getting it up to decent speed, what vcore do you have set to get to 3.6G? I'm only managing 3G on 1.416Vcore.

Currently @ 3240MHz x9 and 360/1440MHZFSB w/ 1.296v.
But 3.6Gb takes 1.350v w/Corsair 5400C4 @ 4:5 and 5 -7- 7- 21.
