You might think i just need to re-isntall it or something, but it took 2 hours of finding DLL's of t3h internet and off other PC's to get my rig up again, i'm not risking it again for IE, especially as i'm sure the software isn't on their site, only the driverswhats the name of the CD i search for?
how does IE mess up explorer? i downloaded it and it was fine... seems as if you have been downloading a crap version....

otherwise, just try to find an ISO of the creative disc somewhere - the same as the one that is on fileplanet

If you install IE7 RC1 it removals all other versions of IE, in IE7 Beta3 (which was what i had before, or was it Beta2?) there was a bug in which if you uninstalled it with a custom sound scheme it did very weird things to your copy of windows.

EDIT - Opening uTorrent

You can control everything through the regular X-Fi drivers in the download.

Just the regular Creative Audio Console. Is this what you have here?

Because if it is, there isn't anything else we can control with the CD version.
If you absolutely must have the CD I can send you a copy of mine.

You can get the software here:

This is the auto update app, and it's pretty sweet. Doesn't support Vista though.
I keep the crystalizer on %64, and SVM. SVM adjusts the volume relatively to the sound effect: it will increase the volume of footsteps and grenades bouncing on the floor, while decreasing the volume of a nearby exploding vehicle. This will prevent waking up the entire world
I really like the feature, as you can crank up the volume in BF2142 but not fear the loudness of orbital strikes.
