e6420 monitoring readings, not helpin my o/c-in

Thread Starter
Hi, trying to get stable o/c with e6420,aw9d,corsair 4g..upto 3.0 stable though know plenty more head room, problem is can't rely on any tools i'm using...cpuz 1.40 total fantasy readouts...cpuz 1.39, core jumps between 2.5 and 3.0 at any given momment. TAT don't work at all. coretemp/speedfan seem ok though temps don't match bios temps. any suggestions/help directions to a definitive guide for above specs?? infact any links to guides re above hardware useful.
thanks

your speedjumps are probably because you forgot so disable speedstep/C1E in your BIOS.
coretemp/speedfan are good. shouldnt be much wrong with CPU-Z either, though it doesnt always display volts correctly.
get Everest for that. (which also PWNz coretemp and speedfan)
instead of TAT, use OCCT.
