I meant 8800. I seen a good price for this card here. Anyone running the superclocked version?

They are good cards, but a lot of people wouldn't want to pay so much more for them since they are just overclocked cards. If it is the same price as the normal card or you want the extra performance but don't want to overclock yourself, it is a good choice.

It runs at 576/1700 instead of 500/1600.

If you prefer the standard and want to overclock yourself, here's a nice price on Newegg.

It overclocks to 620-640 core and 950-1050 after the fact though. I dont mind overclocking but the overclocked cards seem to have more headroom. The card scores over 9000 in 3dmark06 before you even overclock it.

I also thought that the overclocked cards are handpicked to be able to achieve the highest overclock. But I guess it all comes down to luck with the card you get. You might be able to top out much higher then the normal SC speeds, or hit a wall soon after. Same with standard speeds.

Thats when you return the card till you find the one that overclcoks the best.

Can you show me your 3dmark06 score without overclocking on default settings?

If price cuts keep going down I may try and snag a GTX.

Here I had the XFX 640mb 8800 and this was my score without overclocking. I think I had bad drivers or something because I didn't break 9k at stock.
