Bored and inconvenienced - need to replace Stacker 830!

Well, I've lost interest and have thusly inconvenienced by the sheer size of my Stacker 830. I can't carry this beast around too easily, heatsinks BARELY fit in it without hitting the side fans, or the plastic fan holster-thing. It's very limiting without taking away all of the cooling factor of the case. Granted, I'm still considering getting the Freezone, which will fix my heatsink problem, but not my horribly exhausting weight problem.

My last case the TT Kandalf, which in my opinion didn't have enough options for fans, which made my 8800 and my cpu run fairly hot (I was idling in the 70s almost on my 8800). But I like... Different, cases. I know the crowd favorite tends to be the Antec 900, which is by all means a good case, I just like flashy as well as functional. I was looking at the Aguila and Armor Jr. as well, both of which are similar to the Kandalf I had; but will the cooling be any better on a smaller case? I would think that the smaller case would make more use of any intake air than a large one. But anyhow, that's all I've come up with so far.

Any suggestions?

The air inside the case will be hotter even with good fans the bigger the case the more air you have to spread the heat.

Well, how quiet is the P182 with 5 or so fans in it - if anyone knows? I heard the sound dampening is pretty efficient. And with my computer is right next to my ear when I sleep basically, it may solve ANOTHER problem...

What's the consensus or pros/cons of Stacker 830 vs P192?

Less space, but that's no big deal - I'm not using what I have
Less direct airflow, sucks but I can deal with it
Not as super-sweet looking, but... It's a sacrifice I'll have to make regardless
No more removable motherboard tray, I'll miss it, but... I dread taking my mobo out anyway...

That's all I can think of

The P182 is supposedly one of the most quiet cases on the market, due to its thick steel and the way mounting is set up.

You basically hit the nail on the head with your list;

- With the P182, you're going to be working with a little less room and the overall case size will be a little smaller, but that's a given.
- Air flow will weaken a little compared to the Stacker. That also means you won't have as many dust cleanings, though.
- You are loosing that Stacker look, but just going from hear-say, you will most likely fall in love with the sleek look the P182 brings.

I'm like you, I can't stand a noisy PC, which is why I'll be buying the P182 sometime this summer.
