Speedfan, Core Temp, Mobo Temp all different - Page 2

Thread Starter
CoreTemp .94 shows nearly the same temperature (maybe 1 or 2 degree fluctuations every now and then) as Speefan 4.32 for me.
Current readings for Core0/Core1 are:
Speedfan&CoreTemp .94 : 28/30
CoreTemp .95 : 42/45

these are all at IDLE

coretemp 95 looks right.

Ive come to a conclusion that people just generally want to believe that their temps are the lowest from the several temperature reader programs being used...

from what i can see you are at 3.2ghz ...raised vcore... nice cooler with 28c/30c load with speedfan?

lets say you have an ambient temp of...22c (yes pretty chilled) and you were running stock clock (1.8) and stock or lower vcore.... your temps would probly be reading 15-19c does that make sense?

I say revert back to stock and check idle temps then.. if they are significantly lower than ambient, its a false reading.

A couple weeks ago when i was attempting to overclock i was running my e4300 at 250x9=(only 2.25ghz @ 1.06875 Vcore 34c IDLE / 48c LOAD reported by coretemp 95

while speedfan on the other hand reported 19c idle! / 34c load with an ambient temp of 22.4c and this is with STOCK HSF that came with the cpu.

Ok so comparing this to your specs.. if you ran at 1.8ghz and low vcore... actually your temps would in the 10-15c range if you had a 22c ambient.

eh I might be rambling here.... try stock and tell us your ambient....

Sorry for not being clearer, I meant that the temp usually varies a bit from 50 to 54C for both cores, not that one core runs at 50 and the other at 54 constantly
