Download all Hotmail messages to PC?

Thread Starter
I have Windows hotmail\\Livemail and Outlook 2003 on the PC.

I want to download all my messages from my hotmail Inbox and Hotmail archive folders to my PC.

I have alot of important info in hotmail and dont want to risk losing it all if something happened.

Can someone advise how you do it?

I too had custom hotmail folders that I wanted onto my pc. When I configured Outlook 2007 and configured my hotmail account it automatically synced the folders of my account to my computer, it did the same thing when I use to use Outlook 2003.

I believe they took the feature out over a year ago. I used to do it, then i reformatted, did some research, and found they disabled it. I was mad.

They might have changed it back since the Windows live mail thing though. You never know.

You can use Microsoft new app Windows Live Mail, it pretty easy to backup your hotmail.

Download the new app from here, then add your hotmail email account.

Its the most convenient way to save you all your inbox, outbox, & contacts.

P.M me if you faced any issues (I sometimes lose track of my post )

note: use IE to view the links
