Everytime I install or reinstall my Windows XP Professional, I keep getting this error code: 0x0000007B (0xF7C4F524, 0xC0000034, 0x0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000). I looked this up, but it did not really help. I tried a few different hard drives, and all of them still have this message after installing Window's XP Professional and tries to load Windows. I even tried a pre-installed Windows, but that one also had the same error. So I know it cannot be the hard drives. The message reads:

So now I am clueless, but could it be the GPU? I also took out one of my two Memories and the DVD Burner away to load into Windows, but it was still the same. I cannot test if it really is the GPU since I do not have a spare GPU. Any clues? I have also tried different PSU's in case of if that would cause a problem like this too, but with different PSU's, it seems to still have the problem. Therefore, it could be the motherboard or GPU, but I really think it is the motherboard, what do you guys think?

Even if I do not, how am I going to install these drivers? I do have a disc for installing the motherboard drivers though.. And could i t be a defective motherboard? I just had it RMAed back because of defective onboard audio. But at that time, Windows was working, so I thought of starting new so I just reinstalled Windows.

Are you installing on a SATA drive on a SATA controller ?

I would create a memtest86+ bootable disc before you try anything else, so you can make sure that your RAM hasn't gone belly up.

I cannot go to desktop, therefore I cannot do anything said. And I am not using any SATA's. I actually disabled the SATA's. I will test my parts on the other computer, if all the rest of the parts work, ram, GPU, and hard drives, I would have to say it is motherboard.

um, seems like its teh HD formatting. get a GParted boot cd from another compy and burn a cd

format in NTFS before using windows install cd then when install on partition select 'dont reformat' and see what happens

7B is the stop code error as pencap23 pointed out can you remove your graphics driver from safe mode reboot and instal the newest drivers to rule out the GPU? can you run reapir from windows disk to fixboot/fixmbr

Sounds to me like you have some bad memory. Run Memtest86 from the CDROM at boot.

You can get the ISO image if you don't have a floppy drive.
