Jumper settings

What are the jumper settings on a SATA western digital drive? My motherboard says Flash Rom cannot be written - check your jumper settings. My HD didnt come with a manual.. so i dont know where to put the jumper for master.

Take jumper off for it to be a master It should be on top of the HDD.

It doesnt have any jumper in it right now so why wud my mobo tell me its write-protected... and the jumper pins look like they are on the back - not on top...

Jumper Settings info is on the top.. Jumper is yeah in the back
