Well for one your chips are far higher binned then the ddr2 800 chips, if you look at that review that binormal posted you will see the pick with the chips exposed. On the 800's there is a mark that reads -25f but on the 8500's it is usually -18f which is about the best you can get.
Getting ddr2 1000 with 4-4-4-12 from 800 ram is really good and I wouldnt complain about those settings.
Remeber that not all d9gmh are the same, some are binned higher then others and thus perform better then there lower binned counterparts.
