Which should I choose I already cancelled an order.

2x1gig
Im going with Crucial Ballistics.
Obviously 1066 has a higher clockspeed, but I see alot of people with 800s.

I would say depends on the latency, go for the one with lower latency and overclock or run a divider and keep it around 800 mhz although some swear speed overcomes tighter timings bench wise.

They both have the same chips in 'em, so they should be able to do the same speeds/latencies. I'd go with whatever you can get for cheaper.

the Crucial Ballistics all feature the same IC chips...so the 800's are the same IC's ...same latency, same voltage..etc, as the 1066...no difference!

Buy the 800's, they will easily OC into the 1100mhz range. No need to pay the higher price for the same product.

Comeone you guys I know you know more then that. Its not the same IC's. Sure they are both d9gmh but they are not the same. If you look at them the 800's will more then likely be -25f while the 1066's will be -18f and they perform far different.

The 800's usually take around 2.3vdimm to get 500mhz 4-4-4-12 if you are lucky and at the same voltage with 5-5-5-15 you may get them up to 530 to 560 (tops).

The 1066 will do 500mhz plus at 4-4-4-12 with 2.18vdimm and up to 600mhz with 5-5-5-15 with the same voltage. These will also hit far higher with more volts but you have to be warry as they dont seem to take the abuse the lower binned guys do.

If you go P5k get the 1066 tracers since you wont be limited by not being able to use a divider and should be able to run your ram as fast as possible.
