Umm $100 is the 8600GT, not GTS. the GTS is ~$170. Though you could volt mod it and overclock the heck out of it, results are not guaranteed. Plus two voltmoded SLI cards might be tough. So stick with the 8600GTS if you can afford it.

If you can afford an 8800GTS, that would be your best bet. Get a good card and get another in a few months / year for SLI. SLI isn't always perfect 90% in all games, and some times it will perform the same as or worse than the single card.
opps sorry, $144.99
but still this is not a bad price at all!
yah i know that you dont get double the performance with SLi(check sig) i also play LOTRo and that doesnt support SLi yet(artifacts if using sli, so i just turn on off when i play that game)

Wow, SLI might be coming a little sooner than I thought it would.

I have that card, and at 710 core, 1030 memory (not finished, just stopped there because I am busy) it is a nice little overclocker.

Leadtek's a decent brand, there warranty doesn't cover OCing though, unlike eVGA's and XFX's but that Leadtek is at least $15 cheaper than ANY other 8600GTS,and probably at least $25 cheaper than a eVGA or XFX 8600GTS.
