Difference between these two mobos

Does anyone know the difference between the Biostar TFORCE 550 and the 520? And will it matter if i get a 3600 X2?

I used the 520 for a build the other day. The 520 was cheaper and it had nice lay out...the 550 had the stinking ATX power connection in the center of the board.

The the 550 might have had better onboard sound and LAN, don't remember right now...but the layout made it not an option. And sorry, I did not overclock it.

I love biostar...their mother boards will often fit in Dell and e-machine cases that don't have removable black plates and seeing as how those are what I am ussually dealing with...I stick with them. And basically they haven't made me mad yet.

I think the only real big difference Odyn is the TForce 550 has PATA raid, 1 extra pci slot and it uses the nforce 550 chipset.

Max memory supported on the 550 is 4GB as opposed to the 8GB max of the 520 but XP and Vista won't use anything passed 3.2gb so thats useless.

Good luck
