what to play online FPS - Page 2

BF series is better than CSS at team building. A good squad in BF/BF2142 can determine a game.
Once again...

Armored Fury and Euro Forces are not expansion packs, they are booster packs. This means, that when you play normal Battlefield 2, you got new AF and EF maps etc. Special Forces is an expansion, that means you got to activate it.

I would say BF2142 or CS:S. I play both. BF is easier to get into than CS:S. When you're just starting out, CS:S is a pain to play.

And if you want CS:S, you could always just download Steam and download the game, no disk needed.

However, my current fave is UT 2004. Hands down one of the funnest experiences. I don't know about all this node capturing nonsense... But a good game of Bombing Run is some of the most fun I've ever had.

Well right now i am installing Half-life2 so i should be up and running shortly with cs:s after i buy a key off steam when i get that up and going lol.

but I have been looking in to it and thinking since i cant make up my mind on what i want to play online. I am just going to go out tomorrow and buy BF2, BF2142 and fear. That way I think i am covered and should be more than enough players at any one time.

Thank you all for your help.

But can't it be said the same for CS, watch some videos of SK, 3D, or mousesports. You can't just run and spray and pay in a match like that team work is key.

But really if there is anyway you can try the games out before you get them. CS and BF have their own things that make them a lot different in the end.
