I dont know if you can overclock this one, but go in the bios and find the options for CPU control, you can increase the fsb and maybe run that cpu at 1.8 or 2.0 if your motherboard permits.

Don't even bother. Most OEM mobo's have the BIOS locked to only a couple of basic features. You can't even adjust the FSB! It wouldn't be worth it to get a new mobo. What I suggest doing is looking at tigerdirect's barebone deals! They have some good stuff for the price! just ask first before you buy, sometimes some stuff is crap and you will regret getting it.

sorry but a pre-built compy (most) lock the BIOS so you cannot overclock. even if you hack the BIOS there are hardware limitations on the mobo.

i just seen program for OverClocking by increase the fsb called ClockGen
how abut it? dose it work

http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php

ClockGen is an program dedicated to overclocking. Its main purpose is to change the system clocks on the fly : FSB (Front Side Bus) and GSB (Graphic Side Bus). ClockGen also provides some functions that allow you to improve and monitor your overclock.
that what they say

not a bad deal. Just dont spend any more than 100$ on that full upgrade, otherwise it might be best to upgrade to socket 775 or AM2.
