Now I know why the demand for CPU's, GPU's, & HDD's, will increase in the next year.

Take a look at this site, some pretty funny posts
I liked reading the many posts where the customers had no idea what they were talking about.

A woman's kid's PS2 was giving disk read errors after she bought a game, and after she couldn't get a refund she went around the store telling people Best Buy's games were defective. Another one expected a refund after buying Guild Wars and finding out there was a monthly fee.

Somewhere back in 2006 they had a post where a guy tried to pay his install bill With $2.00 bills, over $100.00 worth, and they thought it was counterfit, handcufed him to a pole and called the SS.

lol the geek squad fails it hard. Im in the business of stealing business FROM the geek squad - and Ill fix your PC for less than half the price. Sometimes I even go so far as to troll the geek squad LINE at bestbuy and steal customers.

I really hate those guys, a bunch of dip****s with no real knowledge of what they are doing, and poor ethics apparently, too. >

There may be all this bs with geeksquad where you guys live, but the BB in Novi here has never done me wrong. I mean yeah i've come across some sales reps who know less than even me, but i have always had a good experience at BB. Only time i use geek squad is my laptop (got a 3yr service plan since my last one died on me) and it always comes back working and without anything wrong.

Maybe the management where you guys live sucks.. but we have the regional HQ here so yeah kinda bumps up the standards.

I'll take BB over compusa or circuit city anyday from my experiences with the respectful stores.

What a sham the Geek Squad is. I see the commercials for them and Best Buy - "And the geek squad will come in and even install anti-virus software for you!".

Gimme a break. What a way to rip people off.

Yeah, for the low low price of $49.95...

Anyone stupid/foolish enough to actually pay someone to install a piece of consumer level software on their machine deserves to be separated with their money. As far as I'm concerned Best buy is doing a public service.
