I have personally had a bad experience with Biostar... Non-overclockable, no options, poor customer support, bad translation, (Based in Taiwan) etc...

I think it's a typo. There are no AM2+ mobo's out there.

But Corp you have a biostar??

Yes it is and AM2+
but you'll need to update the bios to get it work.
AM2 works on AM2+
And AM2+ works on AM2 (a bit slower tho)
The AM2+ upgrades:
*HyperTransport 3.0 operating at up to 2 GHz
*Split power planes: one for the CPU cores, and the other for the Integrated Memory controller (IMC). This will improve power savings especially with integrated graphics if CPU cores in sleep mode but the IMC still active.

And the manual of Biostar tforce 560 says:
"Socket AM2 / AM2+ (By BIOS update)"

But the thing is that this mobo may have like the "beta" version of am2+ And it maybe won't give the all power of am2+

Allegedly, most AM2 MBs will support AM2+ CPUs with a BIOS update.

The AM2+ if I understand correctly will have both an DDR2 and DDR3 controller for reverse and forward compatibility. Its the AM3 which utilize DDR3 exclusively!

Duke it's the AM3 MB that will support DDR2 and DDR3 but one or the other you can't have both on the MB.AM2 and AM2+ can only use DDR2.

It's not a typo, it's just a gimmick. They're saying that it will be compatible with AM2+ CPUs but no one cares because all AM2 mobos are compatible with AM2+ CPUs.

There aren't any real AM2+ mobos out yet and if you're looking for a motherboard that does everything (awesome overclocking, full x16 SLI, UV reactive slots, other stuff you probably won't use) then look no further than the DFI Lanparty nForce590 SLI
