This ram is designed for SLI motherboards and is supposed to work great with them. Normally buy.com doesn't have the best deals, but this ram is $133 after MIR at Newegg so this seems pretty good to me.

As a cherry on top, there's free shipping too!

No idea - I just read the description on Buy.com and Newegg's websites and saw that this ram is geared for SLI mobos. Seems a little weird to me to be honest...

It has performance profile that automatically adjusts timings and stuff as you overclock. I hear it's awesome, but I've never used it. I may pick up a pair but I was also considering the OCZ Platinum that is optomized for my mobo.

This is an awesome deal by the way. Thank you much for pointing this out.

From what I've heard, "SLI-Ready" has little to nothing to do with SLI, it's just whether the RAM has Enhanced Performance Profiles - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enhance...mance_Profiles .
