Also a note to any evga 680i users, do you notice that speedfan and voltage reporting programs reporting .2 to .3v more than what your bios is measuring?
Nice temp, i have noticed that your CPU fan speed @ 3835rpm, what fan are you using? is it 120mm ?

Also, why were you using "Large, in-place FFTs- stress some ram", i though you should use "Blend - stress CPU and RAM" correct me if i'm wrong, but this is what i'm using

I'm a little worried. Still haven't seen any reports using a Gigabyte P35 board!

Yea, Audi will be doing DS3 (rev 3.3) oc'ing soon... you can count on him sharing his findings... but hey, what are the chances of it not OD'ing well on it... I mean it is almost guaranteed to have great limits

Be careful what you "guarantee".

Remember the E6600, when they first came out everyone was hitting 3.6 GHz, and then Intel started a tighter binning process.

Then everyone couldn't figure out why there super E6600 wasn't hitting 3.6 GHz.

There have been what, under 10 G0 Q6600's reported here, hardly a proper statistical cross section.

Yes they seem to be overclocking better than the B3's, but guaranteeing anything at this point seems a bit dangerous to me, and is only setting yourself up for disappointment.

my 2 cents.

I agree with Dave.

I keep telling Ninja_Boy to stop telling people that the chips are all good for like 3.6Ghz on Air. Nobody knows til we see more out.

You can bet on maybe 3.2Ghz on air with decent temps, but until there's a slew of CPus out, going off of the handfuls that have trickled down just isn't enough.

I thought all of this was allready established enough by Audi and myself on this thread but I guess those people that jump to the end of the tread could be confused... nobody should make up their mind on what MoBo to get after reading just a handful of posts... that's for sure.

Hey, did I mention to you guys that I should be getting mine Thu-Fri this week? WOOOT
