What LCD for me? Help! - Page 3

My words of wisdom are to weigh the pixel pitch into your decision. Because I was smart and chose a monitor with a small 0.258mm pixel pitch, I can get a sharper image with less AA than someone with a 0.27 or 0.28 pixel pitch.

Whoa, that's brutal. But whatever. I totally disagree with you on all of those points. Glossy screens rock and my light bleeding is not bad at all.

And I find it interesting that Samsung would make a monitor for HP that had a more vibrant picture than the branded Samsung monitors.

Well...HP's Panel is LTM220M1 Which is made by Samsung.

Now...Samsung has their own monitor that uses the LTM220M1 panel..and..that is the...226BW!

So..were comparing the same monitor basically but, the HP one was screwed over by HP so..the 226BW by Samsung with Samsungs own panel rules...

Well, I'm going to agree to disagree with you on that one. But I guess everyone's eyes are different right?

i dont know...I tend to be OCD like so..I realy examine the products I use/get..etc.

i can also say all of this from personal expierence because i had bought the 226BW and the HP but, due to lighting conditions in my workspace, The HP has an awful glare to it.

ALSO...Online vendors dont usually ship the C revision panel and only ship the A's or S's. And, the A can be calibrated to exactly the S's settings.
