hmm. two identical hard drives, delete Intel RAID array, set BIOS to factory settings, set jumpers on motherboard, plug hard drives into orange SATA ports, enable EA Backup RAID Mode Change, Save and Exit. that is the checklist right there. there is nothing else i can think of. it should be working. you know you don't have to press F6 to install extra RAID drivers when you do it this way, right?

Uh...this is actually easy to set up.

First thing, for the "IDE Configuration" (something like that) on the first page when you enter the BIOS, do not have that set to RAID. If you do that, You're not using the EZ RAID. If you don't know what you're doing in the BIOS, revert everything to default. All you do is plug the two HDDs into the two orange SATA ports. Turn on rig, go and enable the change mode. Save and exit BIOS, then you will reformat.
