Upgrade to an E6320 and another gig of ram. Then get an X1950XT or 7600GT, the best bang-for-the-buck Graphics Cards.

this rig is going in the dumpster, im spending $1100 on a new rig on friday. e6750 8800gtx nforce680i sli ... all that good stuff and i just watched a cs vid with the physx card and its no difference to what im getting.

Good choice. The physx cards acually don't make ANY game run faster, even the ones that support it. It is a fact that the performance either stays the same, or is worse.

The point of a phyisx card is to have more effects, so in the games that it supports theoretically you will have more shrapnel and explosions. However, it seems that the differance is barley noticable in most of those games.

If you are a total 3dmark junkie, 3dmark06 does pick up a few points from having one. Otherwise they seem mostly worthless.

my pc is decent, it just holds me back from playing at tip top shape. whenever i goto lan im amazing because the pcs are awesome. i get like 60 fps in css and it drops to 20-30 in firefights :/
