Thread Starter
Recently my fps has been idleing a little lower than normal in counter-strike (low 90's comepared to it idleing at 99-100) so i'm thinking of trying out new drivers. I'm currently using forceware version 93.71. I know these arent the newest, I just havent updated in a little while. I recently installed my soundcard drivers and since then my fps has been a little bit lower? could this be possible?

system specs: (my comp is old btw, but i've upgraded some of it)

AMD Sempron 3100+ 1.8ghz
1GB Crucial PC3200 RAM
80GB WEstern Digital HD (only 22 GB left on it :/)
Biostar geforce 6800XT AGP
Windows XP Home
Icemat Siberia USB sound card with latest drivers

Try the 84.2x versions, I hear they're good.

Yeah I made a post on another site and somebody recommended the 84.x version. Can anyone else confirm that the 84's are good?
