There are drivers for the hardware.

Also I noticed in the article it said something about PhysX software, but it's PhysX hardware, silly article writer..
They were referring to the engine Aegia developed. They DO make software as well as hardware.

Still not enough. If the 40% of the whole game industry supports it & Ageia opened its architecture for other hardware developers. Then PhysX would be a success.

Im afraid I just cant ever see the Physics card going anywhere. GPU's with onboard physics processing is doing just fine. As are the later CPU's.

The 8600GT can utilize the physics a bit in City of Heroes, but you have to stay with in mid to high. Very High isn't even selectable. Maybe the 8800's you can, but I do not own an 8800 so I wouldn't know.

Maybe the card would be useful to me in this case if I had the extra to spend.

there’s not a single game that supports multi-threading even at a basic level.
What? thats not true is it?

Too much hype...if the price was cut in let's say half than it's current price then I would actually buy it, 70$ wouldn't be too bad for this card. More game supporting this hardware would also be a plus.
