Fan Controllers!

Thread Starter
In my new comp I want to get some good air cooling, noise is not too much of a concern since I listen to music most of the time.

Two questions.

1) Are software/hardware based controllers any good? http://www.bigbruin.com/reviews05/sunbeamtheta_1 (adjust the speed themselves)
2) If not, which fan controller from ncix.com do you recommend? Why?

software fan speed controllers (on the motherboard) aren't great if you change your fan speed often. for complete control, definitely get a wired controller. i refuse to shop on Canadian sites, so you're on your own (translation: too lazy). just make sure you get a controller with 3-pin and 4-pin connectors/adapters so you can hook any kind of fan up to it.

I would recommend a Sunbeam Rheobus for a concrete stable, and good looking fan controller.
