If you got hired to design a case by Antec what would you do with it?

Thread Starter
Say you meet a guy at the bar and he works for Antec and he tells you he wants you to design their next case, what would you do?

One of my life dreams is to design a computer case, I have such great ideas for one!

Anyway I would add a built in cold cathode or bright LED light in the top of the case that is battery power so you can see what you are doing when you are messing around in it! That would be sweet!

Yeah i'm bored...

start with the design of the ANTEC 900

[rant] ( I HATE!!! I mean HATE usb ports at the bottom, desktops are on the ground nowadays for most, WHO THE HELL WOULD USE THAT ANYWAYS [/rant]

size: FULL tower (-EDIT- like the armor) with a top subsection for a power supply, and a bottom section for watercooling parts (raidiator , pump etc) and phase change cooling.

Ahem, continue wiht the two or three 120mm fan cooling the hdds on intake at the front 2 cd drive bays, 2 empty ones just in case, for fan controllers, audio controllers etc.. (NO FLOPPYNESS!!!)

MUST have smooth edges, im tired of getting poked around by my case (see Coolermaster stacker 830)

TWO side 120MM fans, one on top of the cpu, one on top of video card
TWO rear exaust fan, one behind the cpu, and one at the bottom of the case(if no watercoling)

No screws, only THUMBscrews. KISS philosophy (keep it simple stupid or keep it simple and sweet)

no window front (slide open) keep it clean , those tend to break of and dont offer "easy access"

Side panel opens like a window( no weird teeth on the side to slide in, spending 5 minutes just closing the *$*@ side panel , again, KISS )

Who besides Dell uses BTX anymore? BTX was a big time failure especially since it doesn't allow dual slot video cards often.

I thought BTX meant full tower (as in way bigger than the regular ATX)

My mistake, i just realized it. (FIXED)

1) Simple and Elegant
2) Optional side door with window (for those who like the window)
3) Complete tool-less design
4) Sound deadened side panels and front (like the P180/182)
5) Removal mobo tray
6) Bottoms and upper chambers for maximum cooling
7) Top Fan, Side Fan, Rear, Front
8) Rubber grommet holes for WC setups
9) Modular design (like the 900 and P180/182, where everything can be removed)

That's my two cents.

-Definitely make it wide to accommodate a ton of room 1/2-1 inch behind the mother board for cables.

-The side of the case behind the motherboard would be open behind the hard drives so you can route cables through the back and then out to the motherboard.

-2 versions of the case. One would have mounting hardware for a 2x120mm radiator with an inch or two to spare. Plus mounting holes for another 2x120mm radiator on the top of the case, either inside or out. The other would just have 2x120mm fans in the back.

-USB/firewire/audio hook ups near the middle of the front of the case, that way it is high enough off the ground if placed on the floor, low enough not to interfere with CD drives; (unlike the NZXT Zero) it won't prevent you from placing one side up against the wall.

I just want a case that has pre cut holes for wiring jobs.

Oh, and I prefer that the PSU is below the MoBo for some reason.

That sounds remarkably like the P180 and P182.
