I could do push/pull but does that really help? Seems like the fans would almost fight each other if they are not lined up correctly (blades spinning timing)
Lapping really made me nervous too, the first time. It actually turned out to be really fun. As long as you find a good guide or buy a lapping kit, peace of cake. Just take your time and put some TLC into getting a really good finish. That's all it is, patience really.

If you used that case, I'd put the rad in the bottom front, personally. Then again... I probably wouldn't use that case myself, lol.

Just get identical fans and make sure they both run decently. I thought that same thing myself, but they really don't fight each other. It actually seems to me that if one is slightly slower, the other will compensate and the higher force will balance the slower one out.

The two fans bring more air to the surface of the radiator fins and really does make a decent impact, especially if you're only going to work with a 1x120.

While water will cool better, for the budget you have I think you could get better temps putting the $ into air. If you want a quiet pc, then go h20.

I want cool and quiet =p looking around $1500. Nice thing abotu air it saves me at least $100 for a new case, and another $50 or so for the water, thats $150 I could easily put towards an 8800GTX instead of a GTS...

grrr was reading a lot and almost decided to go water now after posting kind of leaning towards air =(

has anybody wanted to get a cheap watercooling loop when you find out extreme air cooling matches up with it, if not better but you just keep getting sucked back into water cooling because it looks cool and is just COOL in general? i know i am. it's a nightmare!

thats exactly it, water is sweet looking and would probably be a little quieter and I would think overall system to have the CPU heat go to the rad its gotta be better for the rest of your system, thats alot of ambiant temp taken out.
