ATi "zero display service error" ???

when i try to download the newest driver for my graphics card it completely updates and right when it asks you to restart you computer i get a "zero display service error" i have tried to install the new driver twice..

Both times windows would not even boot i had to revert back to the last known good configuration. Any ideas?

The newest ATI driver is known to be buggy.

Is there a driver between february one and this one that might be better? I have the 2/2/07 driver right now
