i use everest over PC wizard. with everest i can output what ever temps/volts/fan info i want displayed to my G15 LCD screen. it is nice to have it there, that way i can still run SLI and not have run dual monitors and loose the SLI.

I've tried both Speedfan and Everest but don't know which one to trust. Both give different readings on the core temps (though the CPU temp is the same for both).

My temps using Speedfan look like...

CPU = 36C
Core 0 = 32C
Core 1 = 29C
Core 2 = 25C
Core 3 = 27C

My Everest temps read...

CPU = 36C
Core 1 = 48C
Core 2 = 44C
Core 3 = 42C
Core 4 = 42C

Well atleast we can confirm that obviously your CPU temp is 36C =)

Anybody know how effective speedfan is for controlling case fan speeds? I'm using now as a temp monitering prog (minimized to tray), so, I figured I may as well put it to use, and try hooking up some fans.
