??? what do you mean out of whack? i mean youll have to go through the process of setting up your resolutions again and all that but after that its fine. Ive installed newer/older/custom drivers many times and it never caused a problem besides like i said earlier -how those certain drivers i tried - gave me ther problem that you are experiencing.

That's what I meant. I don't want to install different drivers every time I switch monitors. Like I wrote, I'll just tickle all the settings until I get it right and save it to some sort of preset for when I'm on the different monitor.

no! thats not what i meant- i dont have to install different drivers everytime i switch monitors. im just saying that -that one set of drivers that i tried didnt work well with TV out- so i had to switch back to the previous drivers and everything worked fine again. i have a regular monitor and a TV connected to my video card and it works fine with the drivers i have now. im trying to tell you to try a different driver and see if that fixes it - not to switch between driverws everytime you output to TV. the drivers that i tried were exactly thre same as far as i could tell except for the problem i had.
so just try drivers one revision older or newer than the ones you are using.

Oh. Sorry
I'll try that out if I can't tweak it enough.
Thanks!
