Received my SLACR from NCIX two days ago. Note that at least one person on Xtremesystems forums reported receiving a B3 from NCIX in the last couple of days. I think I saw a couple of other reports as well. So keep in mind that it's possible to still get a B3 from NCIX.

From my experience, I'd say that if you're buying a bundle of CPU + <additional gear> - which is the only way to get the good price right now - then you're quite likely to get consideration if you ask for a G0 in the special comments section of your order.

That's what I did, and I was ordering a bunch of stuff along with the CPU. Of course, they make a point of saying that they can't guarantee it. I don't know if asking actually made a difference. You're probably 95% certain to get a G0 anyway, but if asking gets you to 98%, it's probably worth it.

Forget that. They're slow on shipping, IMO, unless you're in Canada or something. And you can't be guaranteed? If they would've hurried up and packed my order, I would've stuck it out to see what I got. They're too slow, though.

Refuse it at the door and then get your money back. =D That's what you're gonna do.

So a B3 and G0 for the order last week. I bet that they're feeding their miniscule amount of G0's through the pipeline to keep people interested in their store.

That's what I'd do!
