AMD Athlon 2000+ XP - T-Bred - "B" - Page 2

Yes, the motherboard should reset in 90% of the boards out there. If the board doesn't support 166MHz FSB, it could be a problem, but yours does.

my 200x10 was booting with stock voltage but i did raise +5% because it seem a little hesitant...
i don't think your board support the stock 200mhz
it says: VIA® KT400 Chipset - FSB @200/266/333 MHz
so i don't know if you go to 200, at what speed the pci will go...
but i'm sure that the 166, everything will work fine since amd has cpu that work at that fsb speed.
check if your bios let you change your multiplier, on mine it's jumper on the board and doesn't seem to care if the cpu is locked! (or my cpu is unlock?)

Well i gave it shot, and bam it booted first try on stock voltage @ 166 fsb, 2.09mhz. Windows is now calling it a 2600+, so i guess i got the first step over with, as it's now time to torture test the cpu/ram.

Also, the PCI Bus reverted back to 33mhz which is a god send i guess, as i didn't think my luck would be that great w/ this system. The max FSB allowed is 280 btw.

I'm happy with this OC, as long as it stays stable throughout long stress/torture tests.

Thx.
